Terms of service
Last updated 2026-08-28
1 · Agreement
By using axioms.gg, app.axioms.gg, or the Axioms desktop client, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2 · The service
Axioms captures each debate speaker on isolated audio, transcribes it, and uses AI to track claims, evidence and their states on a public board where viewers can vote to trigger AI fact checks. It is free while in beta. We may rate-limit any part of it to keep it available for everyone.
3 · Eligibility
You must be at least 16 to use Axioms. By using it you confirm you meet this requirement.
4 · Accounts
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Give truthful registration details. Tell us about any unauthorised access. If you speak in a debate, the private join link mailed to you is your credential, don't forward it.
5 · Acceptable use
Don't use Axioms to publish or process content that is illegal, that exploits minors, that infringes others' rights, or that promotes violence or harassment. Don't scrape beyond normal browser use, probe or bypass rate limits or security measures, reverse engineer the service, or impersonate another person's handle. We may suspend accounts, block access, and remove content that violates this section.
6 · Your content
Speakers own their words. By speaking in a debate run through Axioms you grant us a non-exclusive licence to capture, transcribe, analyse, display and retain that audio-derived content as the debate's public record, and to send it to the AI providers named in the privacy policy for exactly that purpose. We do not use your content to train AI models. Organisers warrant that every speaker they invite knows the debate runs through Axioms.
7 · AI output
Transcripts, claim states and fact checks are produced by probabilistic AI and publish automatically, labelled “AI-generated · unverified”. Nobody reviews them first. They can be wrong, mishearing a word, misattributing a claim, mislabelling a state, or fact-checking against imperfect sources. Verify before you rely on or republish any of it. Axioms is an analysis tool, not a source of factual truth, and AI output is not a statement by us about any person.
8 · Third-party services
Debate content is processed by the providers named in the privacy policy (transcription, language models, hosting, email). Their terms also apply to that processing.
9 · Free service, no SLA
Axioms is provided free, as-is, on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee uptime, feature availability, transcription accuracy, or that the service will continue in its current form, and we may change or discontinue features without notice.
10 · Intellectual property
The Axioms name, mark, site, design and code are ours. Speakers' words and the debates themselves are not, see §6.
11 · Termination
You can stop using Axioms at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate §5. Sections 6–15 survive termination.
12 · Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AXIOMS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
13 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; there, our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law permits.
14 · Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of AI output, or your violation of these terms or of others' rights.
15 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], and disputes will be brought exclusively in its courts.
16 · Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Axioms after changes are posted is acceptance.
17 · Contact
[YOUR EMAIL], including copyright complaints, which should identify the work and the material precisely enough for us to act.
